    12:45pm - 2:00pm: Kate Johnston & Cherie Hughes

All match reports are from 3 - 4 June

Warriors (Dubbo District Comp)

Under 11

Warriors Gold played Newtown Saints @ Home while Warriors Maroon had the away game where they battled the SASS Meteors @ Dubbo's Lady Cutler Oval.

Under 13

Warrior's 13s were missing several key players but the kids still played to full potential. 1st half was tied up 1 - 1 at the break. The 2nd half saw the Wello kids come out much stronger with the midfield distributing the ball well & the whole team holding their positions to dominate Narromine Rebels for a final score of 5-1. This keeps Wellington sitting 2nd on the ladder. Player of the match went to Bryton Sarsfield.

Under 17

Warriors 17s rolled the SASS Stars 2 - 0 in an away game at Dubbo. Stars were certainly competitive & right in the match with the Wellington lads finding it difficult to get past them. Coach Damien Beattie was trialling some new formations in this match which put some variety in there.
Golden boot went to Ryan Miller this week.

Western Youth League (Regional Comp)

The Wellington Boys U12 Western Youth League side played their final games of the tournament at Jack Brabham Park at Orange.
Game 1 was a close one with Orange Lions just edging Wellington out by 1 - 2
Game 2 saw Wellington run out of steam & Mudgee gallop away with the win 2 - 9

Western Youth League has been a great tournament for the Wellington teams (boys & girls) where they've matched it with the representative sides from the big centres from all around the region & played some quality soccer. Well played kids.

Womens Warriors (Div 2)

Women's Warriors convincingly overpowered a depleted Orana Spurs side in a good natured match at home. The Wellington girls had developed a 8 - 0 lead by half time & carried on with it in the 2nd half. Coach Nonenmacher took the opportunity to trial a number of players in new positions & the goals came from right across the team. Final score was 10 - 0 to Wellington.

Womens Wildcats (Div 1)

Wildcats had the early game (also at home) & played an exciting match against Macquarie United which resulted in a 2 all draw.

The mens side had a comfortable victory against Newtown Devils 6 - 0. Some of the highlights were a brilliant goal from Paul Campion who nailed a volley into the top corner of the net & a full length of the field movement which ended with Ben Turner slotting home the goal during the 2nd half. Some good football from the Wellington lads in this game.
